Dante Sessions was the sweetest, most beautiful creature I have ever known. At 2:22pm today, he left us. Sheena, his soulmate, held him close, and sang to him as he passed. I didn’t for a single damned minute deserve Dante’s companionship, and I am, and shall always be, so, so grateful for the time we shared, and for getting to play witness to the love he and Sheena held for one another. She saved him. He more than repaid the favor. I’ve never seen a more beautiful or essential connection between a person and her puppy. I loved him, dearly.
